    Which battery cell is used?

    Currently, we mainly use EVE batteries, which are 100Ah, 280Ah, 306Ah, etc. We have a wide range of batteries to choose from, such as 100Ah, 280Ah and 306Ah.

    What kind of technology is used in the battery? What is the life expectancy?

    Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) technology, cycle life ≥ 6000 times, 15 years design life, 90% capacity retention rate.

    Is the battery capacity expandable?

    Modular expansion is supported. Within the voltage range of inverter or PCS, multiple machines can be connected in parallel to realize megawatt-level energy storage.

    Which BMS is used?

    The BMS of industrial and commercial energy storage system adopts the BMS management system independently developed by Huadu, which has been applied and perfected for many years.

    What is the operating temperature range of the battery?

    Operating temperature -20~50℃ (greater than 45℃ derating), built-in intelligent temperature control system to ensure wide temperature range operation.

    What should I do if the battery SOC (power level) display is not accurate?

    Calibrate the battery, check battery consistency; check the sensor, check the BMS hardware; update the BMS algorithm, check the software settings; consider the temperature effect, avoid electromagnetic interference. If you encounter any complicated or difficult problems during the above troubleshooting and processing, you should contact our technicians for further support and assistance.

    Do batteries need special treatment for transportation?

    Comply with UN38.3 transportation certification, anti-vibration and anti-short-circuit packaging, sea/land transportation is available, ready to use right out of the box.

    How can I tell if a battery needs maintenance?

    To determine whether a battery needs maintenance, the energy storage system can consider the performance parameters, appearance, operating environment and historical data of the battery.

    Does the battery support off-grid power supply?

    It supports off-grid power supply, with the optional black start function, and the optional switching device can make the switching time less than 20ms.

    Will the battery performance degrade under low temperature?

    With built-in self-heating technology, the battery can be charged and discharged normally at low temperature of -20℃ with efficiency ≥85%.

    What operation modes does the energy storage system support?

    Grid-connected, off-grid and hybrid modes are supported, which can be used for emergency power backup, peak shaving and valley filling, PV consumption, demand regulation, microgrid management and other scenarios.

    How to calculate the maximum charging and discharging power of the system?

    Power = rated capacity of battery pack × charging/discharging multiplication rate (e.g. 1C multiplication rate for 100kWh system is 100kW).

    How to monitor the system status remotely?

    Optional WiFi/4G module can be used to view real-time data such as battery level, power, alarms, etc. via cell phone APP or web platform.

    Does the system support multiple parallel expansion?

    The system supports parallel connection of multiple units, which can be matched with different energy storage solutions according to different capacities and operation modes.

    How to deal with BMS communication interruption?

    Check whether the line connection, power supply, interface and slot are intact; check the communication module, network equipment, communication protocol and parameters; check the BMS software, system compatibility, check the logs and alarms; electromagnetic interference problems, environmental factors.     Does the system support diesel generator linkage?

    The energy storage system supports linkage with diesel generators, which can realize more reliable and flexible energy supply.

    How to optimize system energy consumption?

    According to the peak and valley times of electricity price, the forecast of renewable energy generation as well as the change rule of loads, a reasonable charging and discharging plan can be formulated.

    How long is the system data storage period?

    ≥ 1 year of historical data is stored locally, and unlimited storage is supported in the cloud (service subscription required).

    Can I add new functions by upgrading the software?

    Wired network support is required, OTA remote upgrade is supported, and firmware update packages are automatically pushed without on-site operation.

    How does the system fault self-test?

    Self-testing of energy storage system faults can start from the battery system, inverter, monitoring system and other major components. Battery system appearance check, voltage check, internal resistance check, temperature check; inverter appearance and connection check, operation status check, noise check; monitoring system data display check, communication function check, alarm function check; and other components such as fuse check, lightning protector check, cable and bus bar check. When carrying out self-inspection of energy storage system faults, it should be carried out in strict accordance with relevant operating procedures and safety norms, and for some complicated faults or uncertainties, it is recommended to contact professional technicians for maintenance in time.

    What are the international certifications?

    All products have passed CE, IEC62619, UL9540, UN38.3 certificates, which are in line with EU and North America market access standards.

    Is there any risk of fire in the battery?

    It adopts intrinsically safe design and passes the tests of pinprick, overcharge and short-circuit, without the risk of thermal runaway.

    What is the protection level of the system?

    The battery cabinet is IP54, dustproof and waterproof, adapting to the harsh outdoor environment.

    How to deal with extreme weather (e.g. lightning strike)?

    Direct lightning protection: installing lightning catchers and establishing a good grounding system; Induced lightning protection: installing surge protectors, line shielding and isolation; Equipment protection: improving the insulation level of the equipment, strengthening the electromagnetic compatibility design of the equipment; regular maintenance and inspection.

    Do batteries need special declaration during transportation?

    MSDS, UN38.3 report is required for sea transportation, air transportation is not supported for the time being.

    How to deal with used batteries?

    We provide recycling service and commission professional organizations to dismantle the batteries. The reuse rate of core materials is ≥95%.

    Is data communication encrypted?

    The data communication of energy storage system is usually encrypted, which is mainly due to the considerations of data security and stable operation of the system.

    Is the system earthquake resistant?

    Energy storage systems are designed to be earthquake resistant to ensure stable operation in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes, reducing damage and safety risks.

    Is the system protected against electrical leakage?

    The energy storage system is protected against leakage of electricity through the following means: grounding system, earth leakage protection device, insulation monitoring and protection, and equipotential bonding.

    What safety training is required for operators?

    What preparations are needed before installation?

    Before installing an energy storage system, you need to make preparations in various aspects, site preparation, equipment and material preparation, tool and instrument preparation, personnel and technical preparation, safety and environmental preparation, and electrical connection preparation.

    What is the wiring sequence of the batteries?

    First connect the communication line between batteries, then connect the power line, and finally connect to the inverter, the whole process is operated without power. After the wiring is completed, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the entire battery pack, including the firmness of the connection points, the correctness of the positive and negative connections, and the consistency of the batteries with each other. At the same time, measure the total voltage and capacity of the battery pack to ensure that it meets the design requirements.

    How to configure battery and inverter parameters?

    Battery Configuration: Calculate the load demand and consider the safe capacity; Battery voltage should be matched with the inverter; Evaluate the load characteristics and determine the appropriate battery charging/discharging multiplier. Inverter Configuration: Match the power of the load and consider future expansion; improve the energy efficiency of the system and choose an inverter with higher conversion efficiency according to the usage scenario; match the input voltage to the battery and the output voltage to the grid or load.

    How to deal with firmware upgrade failure?

    Check the connection of the device, confirm the power supply, check the environmental factors; check the upgrade file, confirm the version compatibility, clean the cache and temporary files; restart the device and try to upgrade again, using different upgrade methods. If none of the above methods can solve the problem, contact our technical support staff in time. Describe in detail to our technical support staff the specific circumstances of the upgrade failure, including the error message that appeared during the upgrade process, the model number and current version of the device, etc., so that they can make accurate judgment and guidance.

    How to set the master and slave when multiple units are connected in parallel?

    The system currently uses multiple sinks for control, and does not use master-slave control for the time being.

    How to choose the cable specification?

    First of all, determine the maximum working current of the energy storage system, which includes the charging and discharging currents of the battery packs as well as the currents of other equipment connected to the energy storage system. Based on the calculated load current, select a cable with sufficient current-carrying capacity. The current-carrying capacity of the cable is related to factors such as the material of the cable, the cross-sectional area of the core, the laying method and the ambient temperature. Determine the maximum permissible voltage drop according to the equipment requirements of the energy storage system and the electrical code. Consider environmental conditions, mechanical strength and installation requirements.

    Is separate grounding required?

    Separate grounding is required for energy storage systems for two main reasons related to safety and performance: to prevent the risk of electric shock, lightning protection, and electrostatic discharge; and to ensure stable system operation and improve measurement accuracy.

    How to connect external sensors?

    Determine the sensor type and interface, select the appropriate cable, connect the sensor to the energy storage system, and configure the communication parameters.     What should I do if the network configuration fails?

    Check the network cable, confirm the status of the network device, check the hardware interface; verify the IP address setting, check the network protocol configuration, and verify the network privileges; update the driver, check the firewall settings, and upgrade the system software; assess the compatibility of the network environment, and confirm the interoperability of the devices.
